The day before this traumatic event, my husband & I took my sister-in-law to our favorite restaurant (Slates) for a wonderful brunch. We proceeded to our cabin in the mountains for the week, only to find out upon returning that the restaurant had burned. All that remained was a shell of the building and a town full of supporters to rebuild. |
